The Dreaming

While trees slumber, Angels cry
Their tears fill our winter sky

Softly love falls from Heaven close by
Baptized in gentle rain from the One most high

Weeping with joy at the wonder below
Rivers of creation from Him does flow

The grandest of all standing snowy white outside my door
Above my cloudy dreams, the keeper of adventure ever more

Keeping watch from the East, soothing the eyes and heart
Ever prominent in splendor or ghost or thought

A river, wide as a mountain tall, dividing a range in two
We climb moss dressed waterfalls anticipating the summit view

Hope for a future in Heaven and Heaven is given
Both infinite accents, earth binds, the other hidden

Wilderness drums the beat driving the will to success
Bearing witness along the way the Creator does bless

Open land opens my heart with songs of gratitude
Singing in quiet breathy voice my gifts in solitude

Grace from above pours in silver droplets of mercy
Gathering in shallow pools reflecting images of prosperity

Oh sacred timeless waters of Eden quenching fire
Flooding soul with your servants long awaited desire

Blessed are we of the Oregon Cascades!
A paradise pathway with Angel parades!
