Supervitesse is the psychedelic pop trio from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Formed in 2012 Supervitesse already made a number of recordings and played live shows with such bands as Dirty Beaches and Phedre.
In 2013 Supervitesse released debut self-titled EP which was followed by single "People & Pictures" (2014). 2015 saw the release of "Cheer" EP which presented more mellow, acoustic side of the band.
Supervitesse draws heavy influences from a variety of musical styles and eras. The Beatles, The Byrds, Soft Machine, The United States of America, Stereolab, Broadcast, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Animal Collective, A Sunny Day in Glasgow - these are the artists whose traces are evident and invisibly present in Supervitesse music.
During their live shows Supervitesse combine live and prerecorded instrumentation and use light and video projections extensively.
